Cubanba Ri Na Realta"Rian"
Rian was our second born Cubanba male puppy. He caught our eye straight away because of his amazing stripey tiger boots, earning him the whelping box name of "tiger". Tiger really suited his name, always growling and up for absolutely anything. It soon became apparent that he was the boss! We had to pick his name after the puppies started to go and we needed a name that would suit him just the same and Rory came up with Rian (pronounced ree-an) which means "the little king" in Gaelic, this also suits him very well! Rian's proper name 'Ri Na Realta' means 'king of the stars' and is derived from his mother's name Star Realta (Star of stars). Rian is a mix of both parents, we can see Ghibli in his shape and outline, and his mother in the head, expression and his outlook on life. Just like his mother he has a certain air about him that means he doesn't have to make a big fuss, he has so much self confidence and arrogance that the others just assume that he is in charge. Rory just loves him to bits and it will be Rory who will show him.
